You Berry Believe It 🍓

Breadlust life is busy and at the same time unchanged. I've baked a lot but it's not made it onto the page as it were. I'm trying to write when I feel like I have something to share.

A colleague's birthday is a perfect time to try a new recipe. Add in that their preprefrencefrence is to eat gluten free means I'm stretching out of my comfort zone.

So, here I present a goat cheese and strawberry basil tart. The gluten free crust is made from almond flour and honey (plus some other things) which is inherently sweet. The goat cheese isn't sweetened at all, but vanilla is added which I'm not sure it needs. This tart is a strangely delicious sweet and savory dessert. Prefect for the hot summer evenings that will be here before we know it.
